Akihabara is a great place at Tokyo where you can find both outstanding game centers and endless retro videogames stores. The game centers are full of candy cabs with shmup and fighting games. Taito Station HEY is a mandatory stop if you want to know the feeling of these places. At the retro video game stores you can find games from the 16-bit and 32-bit era as if today where their release day. Super Potato is one of the most recognize of theses stores.

The following picture shows the result of my efforts to bring a piece of Akihabara to my home. The game room blends the best of candy cabs and retro video games in just one room. This room enables me to play the real thing of my favourite games such as Hammerin Harry, Golden Axe, Captain Commando, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sunset Riders, Dodonpachi, Batrider, Ketsui, Battle Garegga... (there is no space to enumerate all of them). As a warming up, the staircase that leads to the gameroom has the next original B1 arcade posters X-Men, the Simpsons (Konami), Ketsui and Super Street Fighter II (Capcom).
